A Little Intro

I am a storyteller at heart. It's in my DNA. Telling stories and connecting with others is my passion. I've spent nearly 30 years working to grow and improve my craft, and I have the experience you need to help elevate your digital content.

 

As the lead creative, director or photography, producer, and cinematographer/editor, I have extensive knowledge of the production world. I've worked with networks, non-profits, marketing companies and individuals that all have amazing stories to tell. MTV, CBS News, CBS Sunday Morning, 60 Minutes, NBC Nightly News, The Today Show, are just a few of the clients we've helped over the years. Great partners like RSM Marketing, TNS Global, P&G, Kroger, IHG Hotels, and Cincinnati based non-profit's like The Lukemia & Lymphoma Society of Greater Cincinnati, City Gospel Mission, and Friendship United Methodist Church.

 

As director of photography I've worked on a variety of productions and can help your team craft a story that will be meaningful. There are so many amazing stories to tell, and no two clients are the same. We can help you with that creative brief, ideate, and come up with a plan that produces premium deliverables at a competitive price. We don't do weddings, event videos, or webinars. There are other talented folks that can help you with that. If you are looking to elevate your brand, make your voice heard in a crowded environment, we can help!

 

I'm currently working on a documentary film with our sister company- Iwje FIlms, LLC. That production has our staff traveling around the world to help capture an amazing story of survival during the Holocaust. This historical documentary film is in production now, and will hopefully be released in late 2025 or early 2026.

National Association of Television Arts & Sciences- National Emmy- Spot News

 

National Emmy for Spot News coverage of the 2001 Cincinnat Race Riots after the death of Timothy Thomas.  This award was wan while I was employed as a News Photographer at WKRC-TV 12 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I have had multiple Emmy nominations over the years and three regional Emmy awards for my work in Broadcast Television at WKRC-TV 12 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ohio- Associated Press- Best Use of Photography 

 

I was awarded first place for Best Use of Photograpy for the State of Ohio for "A City in Mourning", which told the story of  Daniel Pope and Ronald Jeter, two officers who were killed in the line of duty.

Cincinnati PRSA: Blacksmith Award: Cincinnati Children's for "Camp Joyful Hearts"

 

This video featured kids from the Cincinnati Children's Cardiac Program as they attended the yearly summer camp for patients. The story highlights the caregivers and features patients having fun at Camp Joy.

Telly Awards- Multiple Awards

I have been awareded two Telly awards in 2015 for my feature on the Little Miami High School Choir.  The video was recognized in the Broadcast News Feature Category and also Best use of Music in a video production. In 2024 I was recognized with a Silver Telly for our Camp Joyful Hearts project at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

National Press Photographers/Ohio News Photographers Awards

 

I have received over 15 awards over my broadcast television news career for my work from both the National Press Photographers Association and the Ohio News Photographers Association.   These awards were for a variety of topics including news, sports, weather, and feature stories that I shot and edited while working for both WTOL-TV in Toledo Ohio, and WKRC-TV in Cincinnati, Ohio.  I'm very proud of the work I did for both the local and national news outlets.  My work has been seen on CBS News, 60 Minutes, CBS Sunday Morning, 48 Hours, NBC- The Today Show, and Nightly News.
